Please note that we double-pack all glass jars shipped by USPS or Fedex, but neither USPS nor Fedex will guarantee the safe delivery of glassware. We do our best to pack all orders for safe arrival, and they usually do, but glass jars are shipped at your own risk.
Returns & Exchanges: Any unused or unopened item, except for consumables (food items, honey,pollen,tea, etc.), with which you are not satisfied may be returned within 30 days for a refund or credit slip covering the purchase price of the item shipping is not refunded.
If you ordered the wrong item, or the wrong size of an item and wish to exchange it, call or e-mail us with in 30 days of original order and when we receive the returned item, we will reship the correct item and charge you for the shipping.
Replacing products:
When a situation occurs where Chugiak Heights is shipping another product to you as replacement for damaged or incorrect product, there will be an additional charge for the new product sent and its shipping and a credit will be applied if verified at time of the return of the incorrect product.
Shipping Damages: This simply means that all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the shipping carrier. The shipping carrier is responsible for the complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the shipping carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to file a damage or loss claim with the shipping carrier.
Prices:
Due to the ever changing nature of our economy, the prices in our catalog/website/phone orders are subject to change. Chugiak Heights reserves the right to invoice all orders on the basis of prices which are in effect at the time of shipment.
Liability:
Because conditions of use are beyond our control, we make no warranty or representation, express or implied, except that all products conform to the description provided on sales literature or product labels. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid.
To the best of our ability the photographs and illustrations on our web site are accurate and up-to-date. However, we reserve the right to change or alter the actual product sold if it represents a better value to you, the costumer. Or, if the original product becomes no longer available. For that reason, all photographs and illustrations are for display purposes only.
Non-returnable products:
